Ondokuz Mayıs University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of History, organized a meaningful online event bringing together its graduates and current students. Department alumni Kerime Öcal and Melih Aydın shared their postgraduate education experiences in Russia with undergraduate students.
During the event, the alumni provided comprehensive information on topics such as the graduate application process, academic life in Russia, social life, accommodation opportunities, and everyday practices. Answering questions from students, Öcal and Aydın offered valuable advice to those considering pursuing graduate studies abroad.
The online meeting was attended by the Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. İbrahim Serbestoğlu, Head of the Department of History Assist. Prof. Dr. Hakan Tan, Vice Deans Assist. Prof. Dr. Özkan Özer Keskin and Assist. Prof. Dr. Cumhur Kaygusuz, as well as undergraduate students.
The event created a productive environment that enabled direct communication between graduates and students, offering an enriching experience both academically and personally.
