At the Çarşamba Probation Directorate, a meaningful seminar program was held for probationers within the scope of March 18 Çanakkale Victory and Martyrs’ Memorial Day.
In the seminar delivered by Dr. Lecturer Cumhur Kaygusuz, one of the faculty members of our department, the historical significance of the Çanakkale Victory, its place in our nation’s struggle for independence, and the values it has passed on to future generations were discussed. He also stated that the Çanakkale Victory is one of the most important turning points symbolizing the rebirth of our nation and the spirit of independence.
Through this program, it was aimed to strengthen historical awareness among probationers and reinforce national and moral values. On this occasion, we commemorate with mercy, gratitude, and respect all our martyrs—especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk—who sacrificed their lives for our homeland.
