Students of the Department of History at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Çarşamba, organized a field trip to Ordu Village in Çarşamba within the scope of the Historical Field Research course, where they examined the historical and cultural structure of the region on site. During the field study conducted under the supervision of Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Özkan Özer Keskin, students had the opportunity to closely observe the village’s historical fabric, architectural features, and elements of cultural heritage transmitted from past to present.
Providing a hands-on learning experience, the trip contributed to strengthening students’ theoretical knowledge through fieldwork and offered them an important perspective on regional historical studies. The activity was regarded as a productive field study for students interested in historical research.
